Trevor Noah and Dua Lipa are reportedly dating

It looks like Trevor Noah has a new love interest in his life. The South African comedian was photographed on a date with singer Dua Lipa in New York this week. 

The pair enjoyed an "intimate dinner" at a Jamaican restaurant before ending the date with a hug and a kiss. 

"They were quietly sat away from everyone else at [the] restaurant. It was clear they were into each other and sat close together throughout the meal. They left together and walked, stopping for long embraces and on the second kiss with hugs," a source told the Daily Mail.

Trevor was previously linked to actress Minka Kelly. They called it quits in May - less than four months after their vacation in South Africa. 

The pair started dating in early 2020 and reportedly moved in together at one point. Dua Lipa was most recently linked to Bella and Gigi Hadid's brother, Anwar Hadid. Their romance ended late last year. 

The 27-year-old has spent the past couple of months focused on her music.

Trevor and Dua Lipa became a trending topic on Twitter after pictures from their date went viral. Tweeps described their rumoured romance as an odd match. 

"Gigi Hadid & Leonardo DiCaprio, Emrata & Brad Pitt, and now Dua Lipa & Trevor Noah??? Who is writing this plot line?" one Twitter user wrote.

Another user commented: "What! Dua Lipa dating Trevor Noah is the most random thing I’ve ever seen."

Trevor and Dua Lipa are yet to confirm or deny the rumours and it is highly unlikely that they will. The 38-year-old comedian is notoriously private when it comes to his relationships. He rarely shares pictures of his significant others or discusses his romances publicly. 

Trevor opened up about his views on dating and marriage in a 2019 interview on 'The Howard Stern Show'.  He said while he is not opposed to marriage, he doesn't believe couples should live together.

"I’m a big advocate for not living together ever, even if you’re married. I think one of the biggest reasons people get divorced and relationships break up is because of this cohabiting bulls**t that we’ve come to believe is the way relationships are supposed to be," he said.

Only one question remains.... will Trevor bring Dua Lipa to South Africa for his 12-show comedy tour next year?
