Midnight's Children
"Born in the hour of India's freedom. Handcuffed to history." Midnight's Children, based on Salman Rushdie's Booker Prize winning novel, tells the story of two babies switched at birth at midnight on the eve of India's independence from Great Britain. Saleem Sinai (Satya Bhabha) the illegitimate son of a poor woman, and Shiva (Siddharth), the offspring of a wealthy couple, are fated to live the destiny meant for each other. Their lives become mysteriously intertwined and are inextricably linked to India's whirlwind journey of triumphs and disasters. Rushdie adapted his book for the screen, and also delivers the narration. The film is directed by Deepa Mehta.
The Smurfs 2 - 3D
The Smurfs are back! This time they're in Paris with a whole new creation by Gargamel...The Naughties! They team up with their human friends to rescue Smurfette, who has been kidnapped by Gargamel since she knows a secret spell that can turn the evil sorcerer's newest creation - creatures called the Naughties - into real Smurfs.Take a look at the trailer below.
