Prince Kaybee talks being exposed to sexual behaviour at an early age
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
"I had sex for the first time at age 14 with a woman way older than me," reveals Prince Kaybee.
Prince Kaybee says he wishes boys were not exposed to sexual behaviour at an early age.
The DJ and producer opened up about his own experience in a series of posts he shared on Twitter this week.
"I had sex for the first time at age 14 with a woman way older than me. The older gents motivated this, claiming I need to prove myself. Not one broer asked me what are my dreams and aspirations and encouraged me to focus on my talents or school, NOT ONE," he wrote.
The 'Better Days' hitmaker added in a separate post that boys look up to older men and often seek validation from them.
"They drop hints on what they are up to. If you spend enough time with them, they will give you information on their lives and you should express approval or disapproval."
Prince Kaybee told his followers that being exposed to sex too early can affect your emotional development.
"One thing I don’t wish for young boys is being exposed to sexual behaviour. Such a hindrance to the quality of their emotional and psychological development. Once that is compromised they are in hell and its the hardest task to get them back," he wrote.

Prince Kaybee's male fans opened up about similar experiences, with many saying young boys being raped is not spoken about enough.
"I was mocked and called names by my seniors (girls) in primary for refusing to sleep with one of them and I eventually fell for it. Those bloody rapists," one man wrote.
Actor and singer Prince Thulo Moabi told Kaybee that he knows the pain.
"One thing I wish it didn’t happen to me. I’m trying to get back it’s hard," he commented.
Some called for women to be held accountable for preying on young boys the same way men are.
"Thanks Bhut’KB for raising this, a young person needs to be exactly that-young. Sex is psychological and if anything a child is not ready to learn about that. They need to foster their dreams and vision," another man replied.
