PICS: South African stars turn heads in Cannes

The 2022 Cannes Film Festival brought out some of the biggest celebrities in the world, including South Africa's finest.
Award-winning influencer Kefilwe Mabote turned heads in France during one of the biggest film events of the year.
The 33-year-old attended the 2022 Cannes Film Festival this week. She walked the red carpet in a gorgeous black gown from Gio Dress.
"A step in the right direction also includes a step on an International Red Carpet. A star-studded affair at the @festivaldecannes . The dreams of a young black woman realised," Kefilwe captioned a picture of her look.
She says her appearance at the annual film festival was a dream come true.
"There are moments that simply take your breath away and leave you speechless. Not because you have nothing to say but because your heart is so full with gratitude. This is one of them."

Before hitting the red carpet, Kefilwe did a little sightseeing.
Internationally-renowned DJ, Black Coffee, was also spotted out and about in Cannes. The Grammy Award winner has a gig at Jimmy’z Monte-Carlo in Monaco on Friday.
Black Coffee is booked and busy over the next few weeks. He heads to Ibiza in Spain on Saturday. The 'Pieces of Me' hitmaker will also be in Barcelona in June.

Before his trip to France, Black Coffee was spotted in Lisbon, Portugal.
"Moments from Lisbon this past Sunday... after COVID cancelations for over a year, it was well worth the wait!!" he wrote on Instagram.
