Paris Hilton mourns the death of her beloved fur baby

"She wasn’t just a pet; she was family."
After 23 beautiful years together, Paris Hilton bids farewell to her beloved dog Harajuku.
The socialite took to Instagram this week to announce that the chihuahua - who has appeared beside her in many photoshoots - recently passed away.
"Saying farewell to my beloved chihuahua, Harajuku Bitch, today. In 23 amazing years, she brought endless love, loyalty, and unforgettable moments to my life. Her journey was long, beautiful, and iconic, surrounded by love until her peaceful slumber," Paris captioned a video with some of their best memories together.
She added that the pain she feels is "indescribable".
"[Harajuku] wasn’t just a pet; she was family and a loyal companion through every twist and turn," the 41-year-old said.

Paris Hilton dog missing
News of Harajuku's death comes months after one of Paris' dogs went missing. Diamond Baby disappeared outside of her Hollywood Hills home in September last year.
Paris offered a $10,000 (R190,000) reward for her fur baby's safe return, but she has not been found since. Experts believe a coyote could have snatched the chihuahua.
"From the beginning the fear has always been that, because of the terrain, Diamond Baby may have fallen victim to wild coyotes. There's been a record heatwave in LA and coyotes are coming into residential neighbourhoods looking for food and water. They're starving," a source close to the investigation revealed, according to Bang Showbiz.
Paris is devastated by the double tragedy of losing Harajuku and Diamond Baby over a short period of time.
"I am in so much pain that I am in shock. I had her so long, I can’t believe that she’s gone. First Dino baby missing and now this, I’m just so devastated," she wrote on Instagram.
