Our crush is back! Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey split

Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey have reportedly called it quits after one and a half years together. 

The split appears to be an amicable one. According to People magazine, the former couple "still loves each other" and are "completely heartbroken" that it did not work out. 

"Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term. He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time," a source told the publication. 

Michael and Lori have not officially commented on the break-up claims. The couple started dating in late 2020 and made their romance Instagram official in January 2021. 

The 'Creed' actor called her his "turtle" while Lori - whose father is Steve Harvey - called him "nugget". Michael has shared several images of Lori on Instagram since they started dating. 

The 35-year-old's last post with Lori was in March. He shared a video from a date during the Oscars weekend. The pair attended Vanity Fair's Oscars after-party together. 

Michael captioned a picture of Lori in February: "I love her." The images remain on his Instagram page despite the break-up rumours. 

Some people noted that Lori removed all pictures of Michael from her Instagram, but it is unclear when she took the images down.

Michael recently bought a $12-million home in Los Angeles. Many people speculated that he was ready to settle down with Lori and would pop the question any day now. 

But it looks like their fairytale romance was not meant to be. Their fans and haters took to social media to react to the news of their break-up. 

"I feel like Michael B. Jordan & Lori Harvey are a ‘right person, wrong time’ situation. That’s a difficult age gap & when one person is ready and the other person isn’t, it can really affect the relationship. Oh well, I hope they’re both okay," one Twitter user wrote.

Another user added: "I guess the contract between Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey was up LMAO I never believed that publicity stunt of a relationship was real, please."
