Oprah Winfrey is setting the record straight about those viral weight loss gummies baring her image.
American talk show host Oprah Winfrey has an important public service announcement about the weight-loss gummies everyone is trying to get their hands on.
Scores of people from all over the world are selling the gummies online and claiming they have been endorsed by the 68-year-old. Oprah has lost a lot of weight over the years, and many now believe these gummies are her weight-loss secret.
Some of the fraudsters have even gone as far as creating videos bearing her name/and or image to support their claims. "Just 3 weeks in, and she already melted off 100!" one Facebook post read.
Facebook has since added a "false information" disclaimer to the post - which has yet to be removed.

Oprah has distanced herself from the gummies, and urged her followers not to buy them. She took to Instagram to share a video about the scam.
"Fraud alert! Please don’t buy any weight loss gummies with my picture or name on them. There have been social media ads, emails, and fake websites going out and I want you to hear it straight from me, that I have nothing to do with them. Please don’t be taken advantage of and don’t give your personal information to them," she wrote.

The Queen of Talk says she is speaking up after being approached by multiple women about the gummies.
"It happened to me again today. A woman came up to me and said, "Can you help me get your weight-loss gummies?" And I said, "Ma'am, I don't have anything to do with weight-loss gummies. And let me just tell you, you're the fifth person this week to mention it." So I am going to address it. This is my attempt to address it."
