'The Mommy Club' reality star says she doesn't believe in smacking her children.
South African TV personality Mpumi 'Mrs Mops' Mophatlane says she is team gentle parenting.
The mother of three, who features on Showmax's new reality show, 'The Mommy Club', is taking a less traditional approach to how she raises her children.
Mrs Mops is known as 'The Classy Mom' on the show, but she is also one of the most laid-back moms.
Her parenting style is under the spotlight in the show, with the star revealing that she is all about gentle parenting.
"I don't believe in smacking. I believe in talking to your kids, making sure that they understand you and you understand them," she said in a behind-the-scenes clip from the show.

According to Parents, "patient, calm, and punishment-free, gentle parenting is an evidence-based approach that focuses on empathy, respect, understanding, and boundaries".
Many modern parents are turning away from the physical punishment they experienced as children, opting for softer and gentler approaches.

Mrs Mops's parenting tips
Mrs Mops also shared her top two parenting tips - bribery and communication.
"When you talk to your kids and you communicate with your kids they get to understand you and you get to understand them," she said.
The 36-year-old says moms will learn a lot from the show. "You'll get advice on how to parent and how to get through life as a mommy, a stay-at-home mom, a mom that works, that runs their businesses."
