MiCasa's J'Something reveals he is a dad!

You can now add dad to the many hats J'Something wears. 

The MiCasa frontman let the cat out of the bag during an interview with Gareth Cliff on CliffCentral.

"It's something I've never mentioned. I have a lightie. My first born child."

J'Something dedicated his cook book, 'Something's Cooking', to his son. The book came out in late 2017, but nobody suspected that he had become a father. 

"I dedicated the book to my son because one day he'd be able to go and read 'my dad dedicated something to me.'," he told Gareth.

The 'Chocolat' singer says his busy schedule in 2017 made him realise that he was spending too much time away from his family, and it did not go unnoticed by his wife Coco.

"I can see my wife is like, 'where are you?'"

Not only did J'Something release a book in 2017, but he was also busy promoting MiCasa's new album, 'Familia'.

He also worked on a cooking show,  'My Kitchen Rules SA', and officially opened his restaurant, Something's Cooking by J. 

J says he learned a lot in 2017.

"One thing I realized about 2017 is that I don't want to be famous, that's not my ambition in life. I don't want to die being a famous dude. I wanna die being a good husband, a good father and a good family person. I wanna be there for my mom, I wanna be there for my brother and that's something that's been a trip for the last six years because I've been busy," J'Something added.
