Meet the oldest Bond girl

At 40, Penelope Cruz is set to become the oldest actress to play 007’s love interest…
 
The Spanish star has signed on for the next James Bond film. The Oscar winner takes over that title from British actress Honor Blackman who was 39 when she starred in Goldfinger back in the 60’s.

Penelope is currently pregnant with her second child with her fellow Spanish star husband, Javier Bardem.

He starred as the villain  in the last Bond film, Skyfall.

Shooting for the next Bond installment will get underway next year.
