Proud dad! Lionel Richie walks his daughter Sofia down the aisle
"I’m so excited to be married just because I’m marrying Elliot, I know that sounds so cheesy, but he’s the man of my dreams," says Sofia.
Lionel Richie is a proud father after walking his 24-year-old daughter Sofia Richie down the aisle on her wedding day.
Sofia married music executive Elliot Grainge in a lavish wedding held in the South of France at the weekend.
Lionel's other children, Nicole Richie and Miles Brockman Richie, were also spotted at the ceremony. The 'Hello' crooner's ex-wife Diane Alexander - Sofia's mother - and his current partner, Lisa Parigi, also posed for pictures with the bride.
"My little girl is all grown up and starting her own journey with the love of her life. You'll always be my little bird, but I'm so proud of the woman you've become. Endless Love to you and Elliot. @sofiarichie @elliot." Lionel captioned a picture with his daughter.

Sofia wore three custom dresses during her wedding celebrations. She gave Vogue Weddings an exclusive look at her dresses ahead of her big day.
For her rehearsal dinner, the model wore a fringed Chanel gown with long sleeves and a high-neck.

Sofia also wore a custom Chanel dress on her big day. She wore a beaded dress with a criss-cross neckline.
“I really think Elliot is going to love it. He's honestly my biggest cheerleader when it comes to anything that I wear. If he doesn't cry, I'm going to be sad," she told Vogue.
Sofia added that she can't wait to marry her prince charming.
"I’m so excited to be married just because I’m marrying Elliot, I know that sounds so cheesy, but he’s the man of my dreams."
Sofia then changed into a look that was originally worn by supermodel Claudia Schiffer on the Chanel runway in 1993.

Several A-list stars were invited to Sofia's wedding. Her brother-in-law, Good Charlotte's Joel Madden, attended with his wife Nicole.
Joel's brother Benji Madden, his wife Cameron Diaz, and their daughter Raddix were also pictured at the event.
Paris Hilton and her husband Carter Reum were among the star-studded guests.
