TV and radio personality Lerato Kganyago has spoken candidly about the miscarriages she has had to endure.
Lerato Kganyago has revealed new details about her struggle to conceive.
The TV and radio personality recently sat down for an interview on 'Real Talk With Anele', and opened up about the miscarriages she has suffered.
Lerato has previously spoken about the baby she lost when she miscarried five months into her pregnancy in 2015.
But she has now revealed it was not her first miscarriage.
"I have actually lost two children. I have only spoken about the (recent) one because it was the one that affected me the most. That was when I really wanted to have a child," she told Anele Mdoda.
The 'Live Amp' presenter says she suffers with fibroids, and might not ever be able to have a child, as the condition increases her chances of miscarrying.
"I’m comfortable with saying that I don’t want to have children. It is painful. I don’t want to go through that again‚” she said.
Lerato added that she has been undergoing therapy to help her cope with the loss.
"I have blocked the idea of having children completely because of the pain that I went through when I miscarrried. I wouldn’t put that on my worst enemy. It is the most painful thing ever‚ especially when you really want to have a child."
But she has not ruled out adopting, and says she might consider it in about two years.
