Laconco reveals why she regrets getting the COVID-19 vaccine

"My heart is heavy as this has affected my lungs."
COVID-19 vaccines undergo extensive testing for safety and effectiveness before being made available to the public. Visit the World Health Organisation's (WHO) website for more details. You can also find an 'All You Need to Know About COVID-19 and Vaccines' guide on the South African government's website.
Former 'Real Housewives of Durban' star, Nonkanyiso 'Laconco' Conco, says the COVID-19 vaccination has affected her lungs.
The 31-year-old, who is the ex-fiancée of former president Jacob Zuma, says she regrets taking the vaccine.
Laconco shared her thoughts in a series of posts she made on her Instagram Story several days ago.
"This is why I regret taking the Covid vaccine, been having fever so bad that it feels like Covid. It has gone worse now from once a month to two or three times in a month," she wrote, according to screenshots shared on BONA.
"I'm tired of the medication, steaming and nebulizing. This can't be my norm [cyring emoji]. My heart is heavy as this has affected my lungs and I can't gym as I want."
Despite her health problems, Laconco remains positive about her life ahead. She joked that she still has to fulfill her dream of wearing a thong bikini on a beach in Kuwait.
"Whatever is happening to my body, ayi shame ngiyaxolisa my God is on the throne. I have a very long life to live. People still need to see God's existence through me and I still need to shake my b... wearing a thong in Kuwait. So abeg!" she wrote.

COVID-19 vaccine side effects
The side effects of the COVID-19 vaccination differ depending on the vaccine used. According to WHO, some of the reported side effects are fever, fatigue, headache, muscle pain, chills, and diarrhoea.
"Like any vaccine, COVID-19 vaccines can cause side effects, most of which are mild or moderate and go away within a few days on their own. As shown in the results of clinical trials, more serious or long-lasting side effects are possible. Vaccines are continually monitored to detect adverse events."
According to the Heart Research Institute of Australia, some people with severe COVID-19 infections appear to be more at risk for respiratory problems and blood clotting.
