KZN represented in Miss SA 2021 Top 30

Could the winner of Miss South Africa 2021 be one of these four KwaZulu-Natal beauties?
Miss South Africa officials have announced the Top 30 contestants for this year's competition.
"Among them are two medical doctors, an attorney, a commercial pilot, an environmental specialist, as well as models, graduates and students. Some have started their own businesses while others run charitable organisations.
"There is also the first transgender woman, Lehlogonolo Machaba from North West, to openly enter the Miss South Africa pageant,” organisers said in a statement.
The first transgender woman to openly compete in the pageant, Machaba, says she will make the LGBTQI+ community proud.
"I will continue to push for change and acceptance of everyone in the LGBTQI+ community and being the first EVER TransWoman in the competition I can declare that by the grace of God TOP 15 here we come," the North West beauty wrote on Instagram.

Four women from KwaZulu-Natal have also made the cut. Andile Mazibuko, Savannah de Almeida, Lalela Mswane, and Lizanne Lazarus will be representing KZN.
The public's vote could determine whether they make it to the next stage of the competition or not.
Here's a look at 'Team KZN':
Andile Mazibuko
Andile Mazibuko, 23, grew up in eMabedlane in Ulundi. The homeopathy student enjoys reading, dancing, and writing in her journal.

Lizanne Lazarus
Lizanne Lazarus, 25, hails from Amanzimtoti. She counts former Miss SA Basetsana Kumalo and Miss World 2000 winner Priyanka Chopra Jonas as her role models.

Savannah de Almeida
Savannah de Almeida, 23, says: "Beauty pageants are more than just about hair and makeup." The Hillcrest resident wants women to embrace their unique individuality.

Lalela Mswane
Lalela Mswane, 24, is from KwaSokhulu, Richards Bay. She has a Bachelor of Law degree. Lalela hopes to meet Minister of Employment and Labour, Thulas Nxesi, to "discuss ways of alleviating the growing unemployment problem".
