Kelly Khumalo's daughter misses her father Senzo Meyiwa

Kelly Khumalo and Senzo Meyiwa's daughter Thingo told her mother that she is “sad, because he [Senzo] is not here”.
Growing up without a father is never easy, regardless of the reason for his absence.
Kelly Khumalo's daughter Thingo sadly never had an opportunity to develop a relationship with her father.
Senzo Meyiwa died in 2014, a few months after Thingo was born.
But regardless of the fact that the two never really got to spend time together, the eight-year-old still expresses the pain of not having her father around.

"My daughter not having a dad will never be something that sits well with me. I look at her and my heart just sinks. If you miss him it’s okay to miss him too. So, how do you feel?” Kelly asked her daughter.
“Sad, because he’s not here,” replied Thingo.
Kelly went on to comfort her daughter.
“We all would have wanted him here but God decided to take him earlier than all of us. But that does not mean he is not watching over us… especially you. Wherever you go your daddy is with you. You know that right? Even at school,” she said.
In one of the episodes in July, Kelly spoke about how great a father Senzo was.
"I’m saying this because I experienced Senzo as a father. What an amazing dad. He would have those moments where he would say, okay if you are not going to talk to me, I’m going to talk to Ma, but if anything I’m going to be present in my daughter’s life,” she said.
The former Bafana Bafana captain was murdered in an alleged botched robbery at Kelly Khumalo's mother's house in Vosloorus on 26 October 2014.
