Jub Jub apologises to Amanda du-Pont for lewd podcast remarks

"It was inappropriate for me to discuss the intimate details of my relationship with [Amanda] du-Pont in public," says Jub Jub.
Jub Jub has apologized to Amanda du-Pont for how he handled his controversial interview on 'Podcast and Chill With Mac G'.
The musician made headlines last week after a clip from the podcast went viral. Jub Jub bragged that he "smashed" Amanda and shared details about their relationship, including claims that he cheated on her with Kelly Khumalo.
Shortly after the podcast aired, Amanda took to Instagram to say that Jub Jub did not "smash" her but raped her for two years.
She vowed to take legal action against Jub Jub and podcast host, Macgyver 'Mac G' Mukwevho, for defamation.
Jub Jub, through a family spokesperson, denied the allegations and reportedly plans to take action against Amanda du-Pont and Masechaba Khumalo - who also accused him of rape.
The ‘Uyajola 9/9’ host called their claims "outrageous", according to Channel 24. He does, however, regret how he handled his interview on MacG's podcast.
"It was inappropriate for me to discuss the intimate details of my relationship with Ms Du Pont in public. I deeply regret the incident. I wish to apologise unreservedly to Amanda for the humiliation and hurt I caused her," he wrote in a statement on his Instagram page.
Jub Jub added that he will allow the law to take its course.
"With regard to the accusations levelled against me by Amanda and others, I have decided to make room for the law to take its course."

Meanwhile, Amanda has thanked South Africans for their support since opening about her ordeal.
"Completely overwhelmed with all your love and support and broken by all your messages of how many of you have gone through the same thing! This is bigger than me…I’m glad we are taking this step together to combat GBV. Thank you!!!!! It’s been so encouraging to see how we are all there for one other. I love you and God bless," the 33-year-old wrote on Instagram.
Amanda has reportedly served MacG with papers for the "degrading" remarks he made on the podcast. Her lawyers have also indicated that she will open a rape case against Jub Jub.
