'John Wick 4' already has a release date
Lionsgate just confirmed a release date for the next'John Wick' film.
'John Wick 4' is already in the works! The third film in the successful franchise, 'John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum', was released last week and movie bosses are already planning the next instalment.
Lionsgate has announced that the next film will be released on May 21, 2021.
'John Wick 3' ended Avengers: Endgame's reign at the box office, knocking it off the top spot thanks to an impressive $57-million opening weekend in America.
It's Keanu Reeves' second biggest opening weekend of his career. 2013's 'The Matrix Reloaded', which earned $91-million during its debut, is the actor's biggest opening weekend.
'John Wick 4' is coming, but don't expect a happy ending.
"John may survive all this s**t, but at the end of it, there’s no happy ending. He’s got nowhere to go,” director Chad Stahleskihe told IndieWire.
