Jamie Foxx's team slams claims COVID-19 vaccine caused hospitalisation

Jamie's rep dismisses "completely inaccurate" rumours about his health.
A rep for Jamie Foxx is setting the record straight following rumours that the COVID-19 vaccine is the reason for his recent hospitalisation.
According to Entertainment Tonight, a podcaster made the claims on Dr Drew Pinsky's podcast, 'Ask Dr Drew'.
The podcaster claimed that Jamie was forced to take the vaccine due to his work as an actor and ended up "partially paralysed and blind".
But the Oscar winner's team has labelled the remarks "completely inaccurate". The 'Django Unchained' star was hospitalised in April after suffering a medical complication.
"Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery," his daughter Corinne Foxx said on Instagram.
No further details were released about his health, leading many to speculate. Some claimed that he suffered a stroke.
Jamie has not been seen publicly since his hospitalisation, but he broke his silence in May.
The 55-year-old thanked everyone for their support, adding that he is "feeling blessed".

Jamie was shooting his new Netflix movie, 'Back In Action', at the time of his medical emergency.
A body double was pictured on set filling in for the star after his hospitalisation. Despite the setback, Jamie is said to be "alert" and on the road to recovery.
In early May, a source told People magazine that he was "stable and not in a life-threatening situation now". Doctors were said to be "doing more tests and want to be completely sure that he will be okay' before discharging him.
Jamie was keen to get back to working on some of his projects. He has not returned to work as yet.
The actor has since been released from the hospital but is said to be undergoing further treatment at a physical rehabilitation centre.
