iFani calls Cassper Nyovest's new song 'trash'

iFani is not a fan of Cassper Nyovest's "Tito Mboweni" song, and he is not afraid to let the world know it.

The rapper took to Twitter on Tuesday after hearing that Cassper was allegedly about to shoot a music video for the track.

"Please don't waste money on that song, my King. On to the next one...." he tweeted. 

That seems innocent enough, but iFani followed up his "my king" post with some harsh words about "Tito Mboweni". 

"I'm a huge Cassper Nyovest fan but #TitoMboweni is trash and should be left in the dust bin. Cassper Nyovest please don't shoot a video 4that," he tweeted. 

More than 1,600 people retweeted, while 1,100 liked his tweet.

Ifani then went on to ridicule the song, and added laughing emojis for extra effect. 

"When the only part of the song you kno is "Sha Sha". You should know its wack. Rather download "World is yours" Or Hell Naw. #TrashSha."

It seems iFani is holding on to some hard feelings from 2015, when Cassper and AKA questioned his one day gold status.

"When I went Gold on the 1st day @CassperNyovest was the 1st to tell me I fckd up. I still supported his music. I still do. All day nigga!"

He then went on to throw some major shade at Cassper's historic #FillUpTheDome concert. 

"The dome was filled with EFF voters. 20k voters thank u. Bt @CassperNyovest didnt fill it up the dome. We dont care, bt #TitoMboweni is trash,"

Ouch!

It seems iFani has done some reflecting since his rant. He followed up his shady tweets with an apology.

"Apologies to every Cassper Nyovest fan. If my tweets​ offended u. When I heard Cass was shootin a video for that Sha Sha pap, I got offended," he tweeted on Wednesday. 

Why is iFani so concerned about what music video Cassper shoots? 

He should be more worried about his music career, which by his own admission, is kind of in limbo at the moment. 

It looks like Cassper is having  the last laugh. "Tito Mboweni" is the number one song in Africa, accoring to a report the rapper shared. And if Ifani did not get the message, Cassper shared a video himself chilling inside a private plane, while talking about positive vibes.
