All’s well that ends well... Gigi Hadid is brushing off her recent arrest with some fun in the sun.
Gigi Hadid's reps are setting the record straight about her recent arrest in the Cayman Islands for marijuana possession.
According to People magazine, Customs and Border Control officials arrested the 28-year-old after marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in her luggage.
The model, who has a net worth of around $30-million (R536-million) was fined $1,000 (R17,800). She had flown in by private jet from America.
Gigi, whose real name is Jelena Noura Hadid, was arrested alongside her friend Leah Nicole McCarthy. The pair reportedly had "relatively small" quantities of marijuana which appeared to be for "personal consumption".
Local officials say the friends appeared in Summary Court where no conviction was recorded.

They have both since been released. The star's team told People that "Gigi was traveling with marijuana purchased legally in N.Y.C. with a Medical license".
"It has also been legal for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017. Her record remains clear and she enjoyed the rest of her time on the island," the rep added.
The arrest reportedly took place last week, Gigi did indeed go on to enjoy her vacation.
She shared pictures of herself soaking up the sun with her friends shortly after news of her arrest broke.
"All’s well that ends well," she captioned a post with pictures and videos taken during their vacation.

Social media users have slammed Gigi for acting like her arrest was not a big deal. They also suggested that the average person would have had the book thrown at them if they found themselves in a similar situation.
Some accused her of setting a poor example for her daughter Khai, whom she shares with Zayn Malik.
"How freaking arrogant are you to think the law doesn't apply to you and/or they won't check your bag because you are Gigi Hadid. This is the example she wants to set for her daughter? Obnoxious." one Twitter user wrote.
Another user added: "If anyone else did it they would be getting 5 years.... Selective enforcement as usual."
But many people also came to Gigi's defence, saying she did nothing wrong and her arrest was all one big misunderstanding.
