Enhle Mbali is lucky to be alive after an attempted hijacking in Hyde Park, Johannesburg last week.

The actress was reportedly driving the Porsche her husband DJ Black Coffee bought her in February when she was confronted by three men armed with guns and a hammer.

The suspects reportedly pulled her out of the car before making off with some of her jewellery.

"I feel mad and sad. It's not a nice feeling to work so hard, and have things taken away from you," she said in an Instagram Live video on Friday.

The 'Broken Arrows' star says criminals have more rights than victims and the police.

“The police are in fear themselves, as right now they have very little power to handle all these criminals," ZAlebs quoted her as saying.

Enhle also sent President Cyril Ramaphosa a message during the live video.

"We have problems, right now. You are now the president of South Africa. You now have the power to create the change we want to see in South... ... I would like for all of us to take the first step and speak to the president to somehow change the constitution."

The 30-year-old, who said she was "doing okay" after the incident, thanked everyone for their support.

“A lot of people have been concerned. And thank you so much, all of you. Thank you so much for the kind messages, thank you so much for your support. Thank you so much for showing that you’re involved and generally care apart from following my career.”
