Ed Sheeran and his wife welcome a baby girl
Welcome to the world, Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran! "We are completely in love with her," says Ed.
Ed Sheeran and his partner Cherry Seaborn have become parents for the first time.
The singer shared the exciting news on Instagram.
"Ello! A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you... Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter - Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran," he wrote.
Ed added that they are overjoyed to be parents.
"We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Lots of love and I’ll see you when it’s time to come back."

Ed and Cherry tied the knot in 2018. The couple first met when they were 11 years old. They went to the same high school and reunited at one of Ed's New York shows in 2015
Cherry was the inspiration for his hit 2017 single, 'Perfect'.
