The world's 23 best cities for street food has been released, and our very own Durban features on the list. The list was compiled by CNN.

First on the list was Marrakesh in Morocco, which is famous for its camel spleen kebabs and deep-fried sesame cookies. Durban was praised for "its curries, which over the generations have adapted to South African ingredients and tastes".
Other cities included: Bangkok - Thailand, Tokyo - Japan, Honolulu - Hawaii, New Orleans- Louisiana, Istanbul - Turkey, Hong Kong, Paris - France, Mexico City, Cairo- Egypt, Marrakesh - Morocco, Cartagena - Colombia, Portland -Oregon, Dakar - Senegal, Bali - Indonesia, Port Louis - Mauritius, Mumbai - India, Ho Chi Minh City - Vietnam, Miami - U.S. , Rome - Italy, Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, Beijing - China, and Sydney - Australia.
"My list includes: Paris: for all the pastries, that come guilt free because you can work them out by walking. Thailand: The night food markets are the best. And the local creepy crawlers make for adventurous "tasting" sessions. Maputo: no better and fresher fish on the continent," says Bridget.
