It's a new world and men can be househusbands as well!
Adulting is hard - just ask Dr Musa Mthombeni who jokes he is now ready to retire after two decades of working.
The former child star took to Instagram to beg his wife, former Miss South Africa Liesl Laurie, to make him a househusband.
He shared a picture of himself carrying a stuffed animal on his back.
"This is the picture I send to Liesl every morning when she says she’s at work. This picture serves to motivate her to work hard and thrive in her career so that I can live my best house husband life. Liesl, you’re a strong, independent woman who doesn’t need a man. You can make all the money in the world and support your family whilst I take care of the home," he wrote.

The 32-year-old TV presenter also shared several reasons why he should be a househusband.
"I’m ready for you to achieve all your goals and be the CEO in corporate and allow me to be the CEO of the home. I’m ready to pepa children. I’ll do it the old school way so that they grow up to be grounded African children. I’m ready to buy a stroller and hire a photographer so they can take pictures of me crossing the street with your naughty little children," he wrote.
Musa, who is a qualified doctor, says he is also ready to wear matching outfits with their future children and become the president of the parent-teacher association.
"I've been working for 20 years now, I need to retire! You’re my only way out, Liesl!"
Musa's Instagram followers agreed that he has worked long enough and should take a break.
"@liesllaurie I’m with @drmusamthombeni on this one. This guy started working when most of us were still in primary school," actress Simz Ngema commented.
But one Instagram user told Musa that being a staying at home parent is not as easy as it seems.
"If only you knew that being a "stay at home" parent is like having 4 jobs in one," a woman named Zuney wrote.
