Celine Dion's sister, Claudette, says the family is crossing fingers and they are confident that she will get better.
Celine Dion is fighting to be in good health. This is what her sister, Claudette Dion, said in an interview on Quebec TV show, 'Bonsoir Bonsoir'.
The 74-year-old said her 55-year-old sister is working hard to recover after being diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that affects her ability to sing.
"I know she’s working hard," Celine's sister said.
She added that the whole family has been crossing fingers that her health will improve.
"We’re all crossing our fingers, and I’m glad people are concerned," she said during the interview.
"She is working hard, and we are confident that we will succeed. It can’t be a story like this," she added.

Claudette says she recently spoke to Celine, whose condition is reportedly incurable.
"This can’t be possible. Heaven made a mistake," Claudette said she told her sister, who responded: "You are going to make me cry."
Celine shared in December 2022 that she is cancelling her tours because of her health challenges.
"I’ve been dealing with problems with my health for a long time, and it’s been really difficult for me to face these challenges and to talk about everything that I’ve been going through…It hurts me to tell you that I won’t be ready to restart my tour in Europe in February,” Céline wrote on Instagram.
Some of the symptoms of stiff-person syndrome include stiff muscles in the trunk (torso), arms, and legs, and greater sensitivity to noise, touch, and emotional distress, which can set off muscle spasms.
