"It makes me sick to my stomach that it’s even legal for people to make up stories that I almost died."
Britney Spears is fed up with people making up lies about her.
According to several publications, the singer's husband and manager devised a plan to intervene after there were concerns that her life was in danger.
TMZ reports that a source told it that: "Britney Spears has been struggling with her mental health and substance abuse, and both problems are now dire enough that people closest to her planned an intervention."
But according to the publication, the plan to intervene was changed after Britney became aware that her family wanted to take her to live in the rented house where she would receive medical treatment and psychological counselling.

The 'Toxic' hitmaker has denied the claims.
"It makes me sick to my stomach that it’s even legal for people to make up stories that I almost died … I mean at some point enough is enough," she said in a statement posted on Instagram.
The 'Oops!…I Did It Again' hitmaker says she is even contemplating stopping posting on Instagram because there are people who don't wish her well. This statement comes after she shared a "wrong" video of herself singing an acapella version of her 2000s hit, 'Oops!...I Did It Again'.
"I’m probably going to have to stop posting on Instagram because even though I enjoy doing it, there’s obviously a lot of people who don’t wish me well !!! I’m honestly not surprised at all," she wrote on IG.
She claimed that she is doing well.
"Again doing the best I can. Again, the conservatorship has been over for almost a year … No folks, it’s not 2007 … it’s 2023 and I’m making my first homemade lasagna at home !!! I finally got my fireplace to work in my living room !!! As my hubby says it best: don’t believe everything you read !!! All that love right back at ya!" she wrote.
