"After no coffee for 15 years … Mom we can go have coffee together now".
It looks like Britney Spears is ready to mend her broken relationship with her parents.
The singer took to Instagram to invite her mother for coffee.
She shared a photo of herself and extended an invite to her mother to have coffee with her.
"Instagram doesn’t like posts of people revealing their bodies anymore so here’s a selfie of me in Mexico 🇲🇽 !!! Mom and Dad … I crossed the border and I made it !!! After no coffee for 15 years … Mom we can go have coffee together now !!! I’m treated as an equal … let’s have coffee and talk about it!"
The invitation to coffee comes after Britney revealed in an Instagram post in June that her mother used to deny her coffee.
“Did you also tell people how you hid coffee every single morning?" she wrote on Instagram in a now-deleted post.
She also detailed how her mother would remove her photos in the kitchen, even though there were photos of her other siblings.
"Did you tell them every morning when I would try to find coffee there was no pictures of me up in the kitchen, just Maddie and Jamie Lynn ??? Every single morning I would put a picture of me by you guys... and every morning you would put it away before I woke up !!!" she wrote.

She went on to say how much her mother's behaviour has hurt her so much.
"You abused me... yes I will say it and it blows me that you still play the prayer loving mom," she wrote.
Her mom has previously apologized for the abuse she has caused to Britney.
In August, she wrote on Instagram: "Britney, your whole life I have tried my best to support your dreams and wishes! And also, I have tried my best to help you out of hardships! I have never and will never turn my back on you! Your rejections to the countless times I have flown out and calls make me feel hopeless! I have tried everything. I love you so much, but this talk is for you and me only , eye to eye, in private."
She also apologized to her daughter for the conservatorship which began in 2008 and ended in November 2021 after Britney's father Jamie Spears was removed from his position of being in charge of her finances and estate.
“I am soooo sorry for your pain! I have been sorry for years! I love you so much and miss you! Britney, deep down you know how much I love and miss you! I apologize for anything and everything that’s hurt you!”
