'Britain's Got Talent' viewers shocked by Musa Motha upset
The amputee dancer did not come out tops in the finals but he left the audience in tears with his final performance.
South African amputee dancer, Musa Motha, took to the 'Britain's Got Talent' stage for the last time on Sunday night.
Before taking to the stage, Musa had one final message for everyone who supported him on his journey.
"Dedicating tonight’s performance to everyone. #MuchLove," the 27-year-old wrote on Instagram.
Doctors amputated Musa's leg when he was 11 years old due to bone cancer. He learned to dance from his friends who went out of their way to teach him all the moves despite his disability.
His mother, Ntokozo Precious Matale, did not want to amputate his leg but decided to sign the consent forms because her son was in extreme pain.
"My mom didn't want to, but I wanted the pain to go away. She couldn't accept her child would have only one leg. She became very depressed and even wanted to commit suicide. I convinced her to sign the forms to let the doctor amputate my leg. When I woke up my leg was gone, and so was the pain. I was so relieved" he told Drum magazine.
Musa's story has touched the lives of millions of people all over the world who were inspired by his Golden Buzzer-winning audition.

Musa's incredible final performance left many people in the audience in tears and received a standing ovation from judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, and Bruno Tonioli.
Viewers were equally in awe.
"This is just absolutely beautiful and a testament to his courage and his talent as a dancer. What a guy," one YouTube user commented.
Another user added: "He inspires me to be more. He's already a winner regardless of tonight's result. Kudos Musa!"

Sadly, Musa did not win the competition. Norwegian comedian Viggo Venn was crowned the 2023 winner of 'Britain's Got Talent'.
Scores of viewers took to Twitter to vent their frustration over Musa's loss.
"Never watching Britains got talent again. Musa Motha should have won. Then the 14 year old boy singing. Then the ghetto kids. What is wrong with our country. Vigo Ven even being in the top 3 is a joke. How is that talent in any way shape or form? #BritainsGotTalent," one woman tweeted.
Another user added: "If that really is genuine, then the British voting public should be ashamed and embarrassed. It was an absolute abomination that Malakai and Musa never made the top three! Total bollox!"
South Africans also shared their views on social media. Despite Musa's loss, he remains a winner in their eyes.
"#MusaMotha showed the world what we are made of. Thank you for your courage and tenacity. @BGT an amazing performance," one fan wrote on Twitter.

But this is only the beginning for Musa. He will make an appearance at 'Vogue World: London' during London Fashion Week in September.
A-list celebrities including Naomi Campbell and Victoria Beckham are expected to attend.
"Last year's event in New York was a huge success and London will put on a fantastic showcase of our world-leading culture and creativity, featuring theatre, music, dance, opera, art and fashion," a spokesperson for the event said, according to the BBC.
Musa, who is now based in London, will be one of the dancers performing at the event. He is a member of the Rambert Dance Company.
