Bonang Matheba reveals lavish plans for her 30th birthday

South Africa's media darling Bonang Matheba will be turning the big 3-0 on Sunday, June 25, and is sharing her plans for the big day. 

The 'Top Billing' presenter says it will be a very fancy affair. 

"With a big black tie dinner for family, friends and media people who have supported me and loved me over the years. It will be a gala dinner for 200 people and it will be quite a spectacular event. I am so looking forward to it," she told Drum magazine.

But the party won't be on the actual day of her birthday, because her boyfriend, rapper AKA, has something special up his sleeve. 

"My boyfriend says he is taking me to New York but I will only know when I get the boarding pass where I am going.... he usually books all the flights and accommodation and everything and he just tells me to pack. He only tells me what the weather is like where we are going so I know what to pack, so all I know is I am going somewhere warm in the Northern Hemisphere and will only know the exact place on Thursday when I get to the airport and get my boarding pass.," she told the publication.

With a new book coming out, her own app, and an international deal, Bonang has achieved quite a lot for a 29-year-old.

We cannot wait to see what she does in her 30s!
