'Black Panther' sequel gets a 2022 release date

Wakanda Forever! 'Black Panther 2' is officially happening.
The 'Black Panther' sequel is coming to cinemas on May 6, 2022!
Director Ryan Coogler made the announcement at Disney's D23 Expo in California a few days ago.
"We’re not taking our time, we’re really trying to get it right,” Variety quoted Coogler as saying.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige says they already have a villain for the sequel.
But fans will have a long wait before more details about the movie are revealed.
'Black Panther', which starred a predominantly black cast, broke box office records when it was released in 2018.
It grossed more than $1.3-billion worldwide and received a 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The film also won three Academy Awards for 'Best Original Score', 'Best Production Design', and 'Best Costume Design'.
