Billie Eilish: 'Every human on earth should go to therapy'
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
Going to therapy once a week has helped Billie Eilish with her creative process. She says everyone can benefit from pouring their heart out to someone.
Billie Eilish has opened up about how therapy has changed her life. The 'Ocean Eyes' hitmaker says her weekly therapy sessions have helped her with her songwriting.
" I talk through things in therapy that I don't even think about in my life, and then over the week I'm like thinking about, 'Wow, that thing we talked about in therapy, I should write about that....' It's really helpful, it brings it out of you and it's really necessary," Billie told Apple Music 1's Zane Lowe.

The 19-year-old says the therapy sessions made her realise things about her life that she "had never even processed".
"I genuinely believe that everyone, every human on earth should go to therapy... even if they think their life is just amazing and perfect, and nothing's wrong. Every single person should go."
Billie has been going to therapy for years. She battled with depression and body dysmorphia in the past. The singer also struggled with self-harm.
She says she did a lot of self-reflection while recording her new album, 'Happier Than Ever'. Billie drew inspiration for many of the songs on the album from her own life experiences.
She just dropped the video for her latest song, 'NDA'. The single is the fifth track released off her upcoming album.
'Happier Than Ever', is set to be released on July 30.
