Beyoncé wows at invite-only show in Dubai

Beyoncé was back in action this past weekend for the grandest hotel launch the world has ever seen. 

Atlantis The Royal pulled out all the stops for its reveal party in Dubai. No expense was spared for the launch, which cost millions of dollars. 

Beyoncé's appearance alone cost organisers a reported $24-million (R411-million). Though according to the Daily Mail, the figure was as high as $34-million (R584-million). Scores of celebrities, global influencers, and high-profile locals were spotted at the new luxury hotel for the festivities.

Beyoncé's one-hour show was an invite-only event and guests were asked not to record. But, of course, many did not listen and footage from Queen B's exclusive performance was beamed all over the world. 

The 'Break My Soul' hitmaker was joined on stage by her Grammy Award-winning daughter, Blue Ivy (11) - whom she shares with rapper Jay-Z. He was also spotted at the event. 

Beyoncé and Blue Ivy performed 'Brown Skin Girl'. 

At one point, Blue appeared to get a little too excited onstage and Beyoncé gently tapped her on the arm.

The 41-year-old performed several songs and changed into elaborate outfits that were created by regional designers.

Model Kendall Jenner was also spotted at the grand opening. She held a launch party for her 818 tequila brand at the hotel. 

'The Kardashians' star launched the brand in 2021 and it has won several awards, including Best Reposado Tequila at the World Tequila Awards.
