Beyoncé's daughter Blue Ivy, 8, wins her first BET Award

Blue Ivy Carter is following in her famous mother's footsteps.
Beyoncé's eight-year-old daughter just bagged her first major award.
Blue Ivy's collaboration with Queen B, 'Brown Skin Girl', won the 'Best Her Award' at the 2020 BET Awards, which were held virtually on Sunday. She is officially the youngest winner of a BET Award ever!
The 2019 song featured on Beyoncé's 'Lion King: The Gift' album. Rappers Wizkid and Saint Jhn also appear on the track.
Other songs nominated in the category included Alicia Keys' 'Underdog', Lizzo and Miss Elliot's 'Tempo', and Ciara's 'Melanin' single with Lupita Nyong'o, Ester Dean, City Girls and La La.
Beyoncé' was also honoured with the Humanitarian Award.
Other big winners on the night include Drake, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, and Meg Thee Stallion.

It's not the first time Blue Ivy has collaborated with her famous mother.
Her vocals featured on the singer's 2014 song, 'Blue'.
Blue Ivy also appeared in Beyoncé's 'Spirit' music video.
