Back together? AKA and DJ Zinhle pictured hugging

Are DJ Zinhle and her ex AKA rekindling their romance? 

The former couple were spotted hugging at Taboo nightclub at the weekend, leaving many of their fans wondering if they were back together.

AKA was performing at the club and Zinhle was pictured in the crowd. It's not the first time they have been seen at each other's events. 

The rapper made an appearance at an event for Zinhle's new book, Meeting Your Power. Zinhle also supported AKA at a listening party for his new album, 'Touch My Blood' last month.

But Zinhle was quick to pour cold water on rumours she is dating her old flame.

"ARE YOU SINGLE? HAVE YOU BEEN UNLUCKY IN LOVE? THERE IS FINALLY A WAY TO GET A MAN!!! Just 1 hug and he is all yours. Yes ladies it’s that simple JUST 1 HUG. Just make sure there are cameras to seal the deal," she tweeted.

DJ Zinhle and AKA split in 2015 after she found out that he was allegedly cheating on her with Bonang Matheba.

Zinhle made the shocking allegations in a blog post on her website, Moments by DJ Zinhle.

Both AKA and Bonang denied the affair but he came clean during an interview on 'Real Talk' with Anele earlier this year.

The exes might not be dating but they are back on friendly terms after their messy split.

Zinhle revealed in an interview last month that they are focused on co-parenting their daughter Kairo Forbes in a healthy environment.

“Co-parenting is going well. Kiernan and I are at a good stage and space in our lives. He’s very supportive and a good dad. We are different. He’s stricter than I am and I think Kairo enjoys the dynamic. Good co-parenting comes from a good relationship and it’s just about putting all your other differences aside and focusing on the child,” she told Sowetan.
