Are DJ Zinhle and AKA heading for splitsville?
AKA and DJ Zinhle have reportedly decided to take a "break" from their relationship.
It looks like there is trouble in paradise for AKA and DJ Zinhle. Several publications are reporting that the couple called it quits in December after a rough few weeks.
According to the Sunday World, AKA was upset that the DJ's close friends, Pearl Thusi and Nomuzi Mabena, were meddling in their relationship.
A source told the paper that the 'Fela in Versace' rapper was not happy that Zinhle was hanging out with his arch rival, Cassper Nyovest.
She was allegedly spotted "partying" with the 'Tito Mboweni' hitmaker at a club in Cape Town.
The source added that it was AKA who decided that they should "take a break".
The couple, who are parents to four-year-old Kairo Forbes, are reportedly still on speaking terms.
AKA's publicity manager, Pumza Nohashe, declined to comment on the rumours when the City Press contacted her.
Pumza said the rapper is currently on holiday taking a "much-deserved break" following a busy festive season.
“He remains committed to being the best father, son and brother and, importantly, his biggest aim is to continue entertaining his legions of fans through his music,” she said.
While AKA is busy exploring the streets of South Korea, DJ Zinhle is in Mauritius having the time of her life with her bestie Pearl.

Meanwhile in South Korea....
Despite the rumours, including confirmation that the couple do not follow each other on Instagram, their fans do not believe they have split. Zinhle was gushing over her man little over a week ago.
"Fake news fake news fake news! Aka and DJ Zinhle thy are still an item. Don't believe the crap Sunday world and City Press are saying!" one Twitter user wrote.
DJ Zinhle also seemed to rubbish the rumours when she responded to a tweet shared by TV presenter Ayanda Thabethe.
"When I think about how much rumors don’t bother me at all anymore I can’t help but think of the time wasted worried about what people would say about me all those years ago ... time wasted. Lessons learnt ..." Ayanda wrote.

AKA and Zinhle broke up in late 2015 after the DJ accused him of having an affair with Bonang Matheba.
They rekindled their romance in 2018 and have been inseparable ever since - well, until recently.
