Any day now! SZA sitting on 100 unreleased songs

SZA says her new album is dropping soon.
R&B singer SZA's fans are impatiently waiting for her to drop her second studio album. The last time the 'All The Stars' hitmaker released an album was 2017's 'Ctrl'.
SZA was expected to release her latest offering - which is still untitled - by the end of the US summer. "This summer, it’ll be a SZA Summer," she revealed at the Met Gala about her album's release date.
But that did not materialise and fans are wondering when the project will be out.
Earlier this year, she blamed the delays on her record label. "I wanted the summer. They wanted more time," she replied to a Twitter user in May.
But according to TMZ, the Grammy Award winner's new album could be dropping any day now. The publication quizzed the singer about the album at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
She told the entertainment news outlet that she is sitting on 100 unreleased songs.
Despite the album delays, SZA revealed in September that a new era is loading. She features in the 2022 TIME100 NEXT list.
Lizzo praised the singer in a profile she wrote for the TIME feature.
"SZA and I first met years ago in Minneapolis. I was a fan of her music, so when she came to town, my friends and I went to her show. We ended up taking a selfie together in the bathroom. I still send her that selfie from time to time, because we had just met and didn’t know that we would have this long relationship.
"A year later, I booked a tour and she was the headliner. Throughout the experience, she was just so kind and so cool. After that, I literally watched her blow up. When she dropped CTRL, her debut studio album, it was a cultural f-cking reset. She changed the world!" Lizzo wrote.
