MORE FROM EAST COAST RADIO
'Barbie: The Album' officially drops on July 21. The now 18-track album features several music superstars. Billie's new song will be the seventh single released from the album.
Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice feature on 'Barbie World' - a song that samples Aqua's 1997, 'Barbie Girl'.
Dua Lipa released her 'Barbie' song, 'Dance The Night', in May 2023. The single is currently at number two on Top 40 with Danny brought to you by CTM.
Another 'Barbie' song also features on the Top 40 chart. Pink Pantheress's 'Angel' sits at #20.
Lizzo, Charli XCX, and Gayle also have songs on the soundtrack, which is produced by Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt, and the Picard Brothers.
Ryan Gosling, who plays Ken in the movie, performs 'I'm Just Ken' for the soundtrack. Margot Robbie plays Barbie.
More surprise guest artists are expected to be announced in the days leading up to the movie's release. Mark Ronson told TIME magazine before Billie's announcement that there are two more songs to come.
"One of the artists is obviously one of the f**king greatest living artists around but also had a very personal, idiosyncratic tie to Barbie as well,” he said at the time, which many believe was a reference to Billie.
That leaves just one more big artist announcement!
