Cruz Beckham says music is exactly what he wants to do.
Victoria Beckham is not the only person in the Beckham household with musical talents. The Spice Girls star's son, Cruz Beckham, has revealed that he is working with big names in the music industry to launch his career.
The 17-year-old revealed all in a recent interview with i-D magazine. He is the publication's latest cover star.
Cruz told i-D that he is working with top songwriters and producers, including Poo Bear - who is behind some of Justin Bieber's biggest hits.
"We’ve just been in the studio a few times and made some songs together,” he said. Cruz is also working with several up-and-coming producers from both LA and London.
The teen, who is still in high school, stresses that he is still learning and hopes to continue growing in the music industry.
“I don’t think you ever stop learning, but I’m taking my time seeing what happens," says Cruz. He recorded his first-ever song, 'If Every Day Was Christmas', at the age of 11.
He says his upcoming music will be based on “personal experiences, real experiences".

Cruz says he grew up listening to artists such as The Stone Roses, Oasis, and Mariah Carey. He says some of his current inspirations include The Weeknd, J. Cole, and Kid Cudi.
Most people thought Cruz and his brothers, Brooklyn and Romeo, would follow in their father, David Beckham's, footsteps and become footballers.
“I thought I would want to do football and I did that for a bit,” he told the magazine. But he says music is exactly what he wants to do.
