The singers' tribute to Sinéad O’Connor left concertgoers in tears.
Pink (also stylised P!nk) has joined scores of celebrities in paying tribute to Irish singer Sinéad O’Connor.
The Irish singer died on Wednesday at the age of 56. Pink remembered Sinéad at her show in America shortly after news of her death broke.
The 'Raise Your Glass' hitmaker told concertgoers that she has always admired Sinéad and her music.
"When I was a little girl, my mom grew up in Atlantic City and I used to go down to the Ocean City Boardwalk with my ten dollars and I would make a demo tape… I would make a little cassette tape and imagine it was my demo for the record company,” Billboard quoted her as saying at the show.
Pink added: "It would always be either ‘Greatest Love of All’ by Whitney Houston or ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ by Sinead O’Connor."
She then brought out Brandi Carlile to join her onstage for a special performance of Sinéad's iconic song.
“In honor of Sinead, and in honor of my very, very talented friend Brandi Carlile I asked her if she would come out here and sing this song with me," the 43-year-old said.

Sinéad released ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ in 1990 for her album, 'I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got'.
Prince wrote and composed the song in the early 80s for The Family - a band he helped put together. It appeared on this 1985 album of the same name.
Following the success Sinéad had with the song, Prince went on to record his own version of the track, which was released in 1993.
Prince's estate also released the 1984 demo he recorded in 2018.

Sinéad was reportedly found "unresponsive" at her home in London. Her cause of death has not been announced as yet.
Dublin’s Islamic Cultural Centre has offered Sinéad's family a Muslim funeral.
The singer converted to Islam in 2018 and started using the name Shuhada' Sadaqat. She revealed on 'The Late Late Show' in 2019 that she became a Muslim after "studying scriptures from different religious, trying to find the 'truth' about God".
She added: "I read just chapter two alone of the Quran, and I realised, 'Oh my God, I am home.'"
Sinéad was still coming to terms with the death of her son Shane O’Connor at the time of her passing. The 17-year-old died in January 2022 after losing his battle with depression.
Several days before her death, Sinéad shared a post about her son.
"Been living as undead night creature since. He was the love of my life, the lamp of my soul. We were one soul in two halves. He was the only person who ever loved me unconditionally. I am lost in the bardo without him," she wrote in a tweet shared on July 17th.
She also shared a post "for all mothers of suicide children".
