Mi Casa team up with legendary jazz saxophonist

Mi Casa is in studio with saxophone legend Kirk Whalum.
South African group Mi Casa are working with legendary jazz saxophonist Kirk Whalum.
J'Something announced their collaboration on Instagram this week.
"Don’t know how to explain this moment for my band and I… we are currently in studio with the king @kirkwhalum… yes KIRK WHALUM!! @micasamusic to the world… quality music all the way!” he captioned a picture of the trio with the American artist.
Kirk has toured with Whitney Houston and even had a solo on her hit song, 'I Will Always Love You'.
Mi Casa's official Instagram account revealed they are working on something special with the Grammy Award-winning musician.
"Man. What a blessed day! Working on something special with the legendary @kirkwhalum This man has influenced our sound so much! Humbled..." the trio wrote.
2017 is shaping up to be a good year for the group.
Their new album, 'Familia', has been a major success, and hit #1 on iTunes when it was released.
The album's lead single, 'Nana', is currently at number 25 on the Coca-Cola Top 40 chart.
