Ed Sheeran's 'Perfect' song makes music history

Ed Sheeran's hit single, 'Perfect' has spent more than six months on America's official music chart.
English singer Ed Sheeran continues to dominate charts around the world with his music.
His smash hit, 'Perfect', re-entered the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, meaning it has spent a total of 26 weeks there. The song is only the 10th single in the chart's 59-year history to spend at least half-a-year in the Top 10.
'Perfect' spent six weeks at number one since its September 2017 release.

The track is the fourth single off Ed's third studio album, 'Divide'. Another single off the platinum-selling album also made history in 2017.
'Shape of You' spent a whopping 33-weeks in the Top 10 - the only song in history to do so. LeAnn Rimes' 'How Do I Live' and The Chainsmokers hit single 'Closer' are a close second. Both songs spent 32 weeks in the Top 10.
Ed is the only lead male artist to have two songs spend six months in the Top 10.
'Shape of You' and 'Perfect' both reached the top spot on the Coca-Cola Top 40 chart.
