Did Justin Bieber cancel his tour to start a church?

Reports suggest Justin Bieber cancelled the rest of his 'Purpose' world tour for religious reasons.
Justin Bieber shocked his fans by announcing he was cancelling the rest of his 'Purpose' world tour, leaving many to speculate why?
One report floating around suggests that the popstar has a higher calling.
“I am led to believe that the real reason he has come off the road is because he wants to reconnect with his faith and he may be even planning to start his own church,” entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins told Today Extra.
The Biebs visited Australia a few weeks ago, and spent time at a Hill Song church convention.
"[He’s] very close to a lot of the Hillsong people. Whether he’s looking at teaming up with them in something of a more permanent situation or doing some sort of religious activity on his own – starting his own church – we’re not quite sure, but that’s the word from an inside source," Richard added.
Justin's management released a statement earlier this week saying the tour would be cancelled "due to unforeseen circumstances".
“Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months.”
Many believe the lengthy tour resulted in the 23-year-old suffering from "burnout".
He visited six continents, including Africa, and performed 156 shows during the period.
Justin was spotted getting a bite to eat in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, and when asked by paparazzi whether rumours he cancelled his tour to start a church were true, he simply replied, "you already know the reason".
Don't count on the 'Sorry' hitmaker recording a gospel album anytime soon. He told TMZ he just needs some rest after nearly two years on tour, and plans to "ride some bikes".
Fans can still enjoy Justin's music during his break.
He currently has two hits on the Coca-Cola Top 40 chart. 'Despacito' is still going strong at number 10, while '2U', his collaboration with David Guetta, is at number 12.
