Cassper Nyovest collaborates with US star

Cassper Nyovest's new album features an international act.
Cassper Nyovest is just one day away from releasing his new album, 'Thuto', and the rapper shared a picture of the offering's full song list.
US singer Goapele features on two tracks on the album. The first song is called 'Confused', and the second is titled 'Destiny'.
Goapele is an American R&B and soul singer best known for her hit, 'Closer'.
The song featured on the soundtrack for Jessica Alba's hit movie, 'Honey', in 2003.
Cassper is not Goapele's only connection to South Africa. The singer's father is Douglas Mohlabane, an apartheid activist from SA who lived in exile in the US. Goapele lived in California with her brother, DJ Namane, and her Israeli mother Noa.
Other artists making an appearance on Cassper's 16-track album, which is set to be released on Friday, are Riky Rick, Nadia Nakai, Black Thought, Tsepo Tshola, and Tshego.
Cassper is gearing up for the album's launch party this weekend.
Several local A-listers are expected to attend the event in Soweto.
Catch the Coca-Cola Top 40 with Carol Ofori and Ricky on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm to find out if Cassper's new music makes the cut.

I've never ever been sooo confident about an album in my life. I'm not even talking about commercial viability but just the quality!!! 💪🏿 https://t.co/eky752o7D8
