Miguel is feeling "unf**kwithable" after a bizarre promotional stunt for his upcoming music video that saw him hanging from his bare skin.

The 'Adorn' hitmaker carried out the stunt while performing at a special show in Los Angeles. He previewed the music from his new album, 'Viscera'.

Shortly before performing his song 'Rope', two crew members, dressed in all-white, came out to attach metal hooks and a rope to two piercings on his back.

He was then lifted into the air where he remained suspended for the song.

"What is your relationship to pain? What is your relationship to change?" he asked his fans on Instagram after his jaw-dropping performance.

The singer also shared a picture of a bloody t-shirt.

Miguel revealed in a separate post that there are a couple of things that suspension will teach you.

"First, that you are unf**kwithable.  Second, (and more importantly) to trust yourself, trust your strength, and trust the power of vulnerability without needing to control the outcome," he said.

The award-winning singer added that "the love, concern, encouragement, anger, and curiosity" his performance drew "are equally warranted and appreciated".

He said the emotions intrinsically relate to his upcoming album.

"Couldn’t be more grateful for the revelations (l)earned through the shadow work, both mental and physical, preparing for this performance to announce my next lp, VISCERA, and the range of emotions it has evoked... Wait till you hear the music."

Miguel included a "viewer's discretion is advised" disclaimer in his post. Watch the video below if you are not squirmish.

Many social media users are not impressed with the singer's back-piercing stunt. "This is actually sick… and concerning," one Instagram user wrote.

Another user added: "I love you Miguel but this seems demonic, might have to unfollow but love your OLD music."

But Miguel's fans are coming to his defence. " Suspension has been a thing for while , y’all just never heard about it. Let him express himself how he wants."
