Janelle Monáe reveals new details about upcoming album

Here's who will be featured on Janelle's new album.
Janelle Monáe will be dropping her fourth studio album, 'The Age of Pleasure', this week.
The 'Tightrope' singer shared the album's tracklist and features on Wednesday ahead of the release. The 14-track album includes her singles, 'Lipstick Lover' and 'Released'.
Grace Jones, Egypt 80, Doechii, Seun Kuti, CKay, Sister Nancy, Amaarae, and actress Nia Long feature on the offering.
"This project wouldn’t be the same without each of you. I wish everyone could have been a spider on the speaker while we had the most fun making thingsssss. Legendary times were had," Janelle wrote on Instagram.

Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine for its June 2023 cover, Janelle revealed that some of the songs on her album are inspired Afrobeats and South Africa's amapiano sound.
Seun Kuti, CKay, and Amaarae are some of the African artists are the album.
“This album is not about a fight. It’s about living in an oasis created by us for us. Even
with everything going on in the world, this is our moment to breathe together,
unapologetically taking this beat to enjoy — to hurry up and live," she told the publication.

'The Age of Pleasure' is Janelle's first album in five years. She will be going on tour at the end of August to support her new project.
