Ed Sheeran and Elton John to release Christmas video

Ed Sheeran and Elton John have teamed up for new music.
Their song, 'Merry Christmas', comes out on Friday, 3 December.
According to a statement released by Ed Sheeran, the proceeds of the song will go to the pair's charity organisations.
"Our song “Merry Christmas” is out this Friday. Link in bio to pre-order it or pre-save it. All UK profits from this year’s Christmas period will go to the Ed Sheeran Suffolk Music Foundation (www.essmf.com) and the Elton John AIDS Foundation (@ejaf )," wrote Sheeran.

Ed Sheeran said he enjoyed collaborating with Elton John.
"This was an absolute blast! Our music video for ‘Merry Christmas’ is coming this Friday," he wrote.

Elton John is celebrating the success of his latest album, 'The Lockdown Sessions'.
He took to Instagram to share that his album has received millions of listens on Spotify.
"I can’t believe it - 50 MILLION LISTENERS ON SPOTIFY!" he wrote.
The 'Cold Heart' hitmaker says the past few months have been good to him.
"The last few months have been some of the most incredible in my career and I’m so grateful that people are enjoying listening to this new music, which has meant so much to me," he wrote on IG.
He says the album has been one of his greatest achievements.
"It has been one of my greatest achievements to work with the artists on ‘The Lockdown Sessions’ and see the success of it and singles like Cold Heart (PNAU Remix) top charts around the world. To each and every fan out there - THANK YOU!," he wrote.
