"Doja Cat naming the album #hellmouth tells me she will be spitting fire" - the singer's fans can't wait for her new project to drop.
Doja Cat has shared an important detail about her upcoming album. The 'Get Into It' hitmaker took to Twitter this week to announce the title of her fourth studio album.
'DC4 has a title now," she tweeted on Wednesday before sharing that her next project will be named 'Hellmouth'.

There's no release date for the 27-year-old's album as yet but fans are already expecting it to be a hit.
"So @DojaCat naming the album #hellmouth tells me she will be spitting fire. I’m here for it," one Twitter user wrote.
Another user added: "I have no idea what Doja Cat is going to give us with #Hellmouth and that's genuinely the most exciting part of her artistry."

But Doja Cat deleted her tweet about DC4 having a title, leading fans to question whether 'Hellmouth' is the name of the project's lead single and not the actual album.

Doja deleted this tweet about DC4 having a title. Now I really think #Hellmouth is the name of a single and not the album itself. To be fair, she never explicitly said that Hellmouth is the album’s name pic.twitter.com/j1Lk5BVZ3k

The 'Like That' singer - who has worked with artists such as Tyga, Ariana Grande, and The Weeknd - is expected to release her new album sometime in 2023.
She is expected to experiment with different music genres.
"I know that I’ve done a lot of pink and soft things, a lot of pop and glittery sounds but for this next era, I’m going in a more masculine direction," she told Variety earlier this year.
Doja Cat told the publication she wants to explore punk.
"But not pop-punk. I feel like we have enough pop-punk artists right now... I want to explore more of a raw, unfiltered, hardcore punk sort of thing. It’s just something that I’m doing for my own personal fun — getting some drummers and guitarists together," she added.

Regardless of the genre, Doja Cat says she will be rapping a lot on her next album. She got to show off her rap skills again in her 2022 single, 'Vegas'. She recorded the song for Baz Luhrmann's Elvis Presley biopic starring Austin Butler.
"That was one of the greatest experiences because everyone knows ‘Hound Dog’ but I was able to give it my own spin. I went in and I was like, ‘Finally, I get to rap again.’ A lot of people discredit me, so it’s nice to just put another one in the fu**ing bucket for a great rap song.”
Whatever Doja Cat has planned for her upcoming album, fans are expecting it to be nothing short of amazing.
