BTS star Jimin makes music history

Jimin just bagged his first solo number one single in America.
BTS member Jimin's new solo single, 'Like Crazy', has debuted at #1 on America's Billboard Hot 100 chart.
It knocked Miley Cyrus' smash hit, 'Flowers', off the top spot. Jimin is now the first South Korean soloist to secure a number song on the chart.
According to Billboard: "'Like Crazy' sold 254,000 song downloads and CD singles combined and drew 10 million streams and 64,000 radio airplay audience impressions in its first week".
The track is the second single off Jimin's debut solo album, 'FACE'. The album, which was released on March 24, debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart behind Morgan Wallen's 'One Thing At A Time'.
Jimin told Vogue Korea in an interview released in March that 'FACE' is an autobiographical album.
"But I hope everyone listening to the music becomes comforted and relates [to the music] as if it were their story. Regarding the solo album RM released at the end of last year, RM expressed that the album’s B-sides were songs that made you want to ride a bike. After listening to that album and going to a cafe you enjoy, if you focus on listening to my album, I believe that you will have a perfect day.”
Jimin's K-pop group BTS has six number 1s in America including 'Dynamite', 'Butter', and 'Permission To Dance'.
