Global Citizen wants you to take action by calling on world leaders to step up critical climate funding.
Global Citizen has revealed the line-up for its upcoming ‘Power Our Planet: Live In Paris’ concert.
Billie Eilish, Jon Batiste, Lenny Kravitz, and H.E.R have been announced as some of the headliners. The free concert is set to take place at Champ de Mars, which is located near the Eiffel Tower.
Billie's brother Finneas O'Connell, Ben Harper, and Mosimann are listed as special guest artists. Finneas is an award-winning singer-songwriter and producer.
He won an Oscar for 'No Time to Die', a song he co-wrote with Billie for the James Bond movie of the same name.
Global Citizen is calling on world leaders to "step up critical climate funding to help vulnerable countries mitigate the impacts of climate change".
The non-profit organisation says its 'PowerOurPlanet: Live in Paris' concert is more than just an event.
"It’s our chance to join together in a rallying cry to say that where you live shouldn’t impact IF you live. We’re calling for a seismic shift in the way the world’s financial systems work to give the world’s poor and developing countries access to the financing they urgently need to quicken their transition to clean energy, strengthen their resilience against natural disasters, and address their most urgent needs," it said in a statement.

Global Citizen has held several concerts in the past years. South African actress Nomzambo Mbatha made an appearance at the 'VAX Live: The Concert to Reunite the World' concert in 2021.
The concert, which was held in Los Angeles, raised awareness about fair distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine to all nations.
Nomzamo shared a sweet moment with Prince Harry on stage. They gave each other a fist bump as their paths crossed.
The 'Shaka Ilembe' actress was one of the presenters at the event.
The ‘Power Our Planet: Live In Paris’ is set to take place on June 22.
