The fan reportedly threw the phone at her because he thought it would be funny.
Bebe Rexha is in good spirits despite being injured after a concertgoer threw a phone at her during one of her shows in New York City.
Video footage from the concert shows the 33-year-old being struck in the face as she walks towards the crowd at the end of her show. The 'Break My Heart' singer then collapses onto the floor while holding her face.
The concert was brought to a halt.
Bebe Rexha took to her Instagram page on Monday to say that she is "good". She also shared pictures of her bruised eye. She reportedly needed stitches.

The 27-year-old man who threw the phone was promptly arrested. Nicolas Malvagna has been charged with assault.
"What kind of world do we live in that someone who’s paid money to attend a concert (assuming they like the artist) decides to whip a cell phone at (said artist’s) head? Who raised them? Like seriously, who are your parents and how could they raise someone so trashy?" one Twitter user asked.
Another user tweeted: "The audacity of some people is really shocking."
Social media users suggested that many fans are throwing their phones at artists in the hopes that they will catch it and take a selfie before throwing it back to them.
But according to reports, the man in question threw his device for another reason.
"I was trying to see if I could hit her with the phone at the end of the show because it would be funny," Rolling Stone quoted Nicolas as saying.
Bebe Rexha's friends and fans are just glad she is okay after the shocking incident. "Love you mami," Katy Perry commented.
Demi Lovato wrote: "Love you girly. I’m so sorry this happened to you."
YouTube star, Nikkie de Jager, added: "You’re too good for the world! Feel better soon baby. People can be so f***ing stupid."
